Biography for Katie Hill
Director, Home and Community Care, Ministry of Health Services
Katie is a native British Columbian–raised in Vancouver, and has had stints living in Nelson, Kelowna and Victoria over the years. She has worked in the health and not-for-profit sectors such as Arthritis Society (BC/Yukon Division), Canadian Red Cross Society, Nelson Health Council, Kootenay Boundary Health Services Society and Interior Health Authority throughout her working life. She has been a family caregiver for a mother with CHF and COPD, and a father with dementia.
