Facing the Facts: Home Care in Ontario

Who uses home care in Ontario? Is public spending on home care going up or down? What do we know about safety in home settings? It’s time to face the facts, and our fact sheet can help, with data culled from a range of sources. For example:
• 84% or more of surveyed Ontarians prefer home care for themselves or their loved ones.
• 15% of CCAC clients have Alzheimer’s disease or other dementia.
