PANORAMA panelists reflect Ontario’s rich diversity
October 17, 2012
How well does the PANORAMA panel mirror Ontario? In short, quite well. This two-page composite sketch shows how the panel’s 32 members bring a rich diversity to their, and our, healthcare discussions. Shaped by different communities, backgrounds, and birth dates, they reflect Ontario’s population in age, gender, geography, and cultural and socio-economic backgrounds. Their healthcare experiences — whether as a patient or family or friend caregiver — embody the realities of living with a range of long-term health conditions.
A map provides an aerial view of the villages to large urban centres panelists inhabit across Ontario. All 14 Local Health Integration Networks (LHINS) regions are represented. Also see a list of panelists’ names.
